A private villa dinner in Costa Smeralda: how it works
A private villa dinner is not a restaurant moved into your house: it is a service built around your day. In Costa Smeralda — Porto Cervo, Cala di Volpe, Porto Rotondo, Porto Rafael — that means working with the rhythm of the sea, the morning market and the hours of people on holiday.
First: the conversation
It starts with a few questions. How many guests, how many evenings, allergies and intolerances, tastes and dislikes, whether something is being celebrated. From there comes the proposed pathway: sea, land, vegetable, ketogenic, a journey across continents, or a menu written from scratch.
The menu is confirmed before your arrival, yet stays alive: if the night's catch suggests otherwise, the table benefits.
The day of the service
Sourcing is the first part of the work: island fishmongers and small producers, local gardens and dairies, herbs picked where they grow. I arrive at the villa with the time I need, cook in your kitchen, serve at the hours you choose and leave the kitchen as I found it.
Service can be seated and paced, shared around one table, or informal by the pool. Sardinian and international wine pairings are available on request.
Beyond a single dinner
Many families choose a continuous service for the whole stay: breakfasts, light lunches before or after the beach, a different dinner every evening. Yoga retreats & sport camps become the ideal occasion to combine pleasure with care of the body.
If the villa is not chosen yet, I collaborate with owners of private houses in Sardinia I know personally: mentioning my name gets you a reserved rate.
Discretion
Every engagement is confidential: no names, no addresses, no photographs of guests. That is the condition that lets everything else work.
